Calm Labor
Privacy Policy
Last updated 30 August 2026.
Labour is about as private as life gets. This app is built so that almost nothing about yours has to leave your phone.
What stays on your device
Your contractions, your history, your kick counts, your check-ins, your birth story and your feeding log are stored on your phone. With no account and nobody invited, none of it is sent anywhere, and the app works with no signal at all.
What is sent, and only if you ask for it
- If you invite someone: the contractions, updates, announcement and group-chat messages for that labour are stored on our server so the people you invited can load them. You can revoke the code at any time.
- If you sign in: Sign in with Apple gives us an identifier and, if you allow it, an email address. That is the whole account.
- If you enable notifications: a device token, so a push can reach you.
What we never do
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No analytics or tracking SDKs.
- Nothing sold or shared with data brokers. Ever.
Who else can see your labour
Anyone who redeems your invite code can see what it carries, and they must be signed in to do so. Treat the code like a house key: give it to the people you want in the room, and revoke it when you are done.
Payments
The one-time unlock is billed by Apple. We never see your card. We receive only whether the app has been unlocked.
Deleting everything
Settings → Sharing & account → Delete account removes your account and everything stored on our server. Deleting the app removes what is on your phone. Email support@70engines.com and we will do it for you if you would rather.
Children
Calm Labor is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
