Common questions

Do I need an account?
Not for the timer, your history or your birth story - those live on your phone and work with no signal. An account is only needed to invite someone, because their phone has to fetch your labour from a server.

What does it cost?
One payment, once, and that is the whole app - there is no subscription. The price is shown before you buy. Everyone you invite follows for free and never sees a price at all.

How do I share with my partner?
Share → sign in → you get an invite code. Send it once. They install Calm Labor, tap I have an invite code, and choose how they are supporting you - which decides what they see.

I forgot to tap a contraction.
Open the history and add it, with the time it actually started. Anything already recorded can be edited or deleted too.

Can I stop sharing?
Yes, at any moment. Share → Revoke. The code stops working immediately, and everyone already following stops seeing anything new.

What happens after the birth?
Announce the arrival and the app moves to Recovery: feeding log, recovery days, and the birth story you built along the way.
